As part of the 'Beyond the 1914-1918 Centenary' lecture series, Terry Boardman considers the implications of the German invasion of Belgium and its impact on the British decision for war.

Considering the British national context for declaring war on Germany, as well as the imperial, European and global contexts, Mr. Boardman explores the events leading up to the British decision and their repercussions.
